About Sbeak

Sbeak turns reading the web into a conversation.

Most comment sections are bolted to the bottom of a page and belong to whoever runs the site. Sbeak puts the discussion on top of the page itself, and it belongs to the people reading it. The address of the page is the room: everyone who opens it joins the same discussion.

Arguments have a direction. A reply on Sbeak can support or challenge a point, so you can see what is being defended, what is being contested, and where the room stands.

We would rather show an opinion behind a warning than delete it. Comments that collect reports are hidden behind a notice the reader can open; moderators remove only content that breaks a named rule, such as threats, personal information or illegal content.

Identity is light by default: read without an account, post under a username you choose, add an email only if you want to keep that name on another device.

Sbeak is multilingual from the first screen — English, Hebrew, Arabic, Spanish, French and Russian, with full right-to-left layouts.

What we hold to

The page is the room

A discussion belongs to a page and follows you as you read.

Surface opinions, don't silence them

Hide behind a notice, let the reader choose; remove only what breaks a rule.

Respect the reader

No ads, no trackers, as little data as possible.
