Child safety standards

Sbeak — Sbeak's developer (an individual) · Effective 2026-10-16

Sbeak has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualisation of minors, and any content or contact that endangers children. This applies to comments, quoted passages, usernames, profile pictures and every other part of the service.

Who can use Sbeak

Sbeak is not directed to children under 18 (see the privacy policy and the community rules).

Reporting inside the app

• A comment: the comment's menu → Report.
• A comment about or endangering a child: choose the reason Child safety. It goes to the moderators at once, at the top of their queue.
• A person, their username or profile picture: tap their name → Report user, or View profile → Report profile picture, and choose Child safety. You can also Block them.
• The reported person is never told who reported them. A comment with enough reports is hidden behind a notice until a moderator decides.

What we do

• Content that sexualises or endangers children is removed under the "illegal content" rule as soon as a moderator confirms it; a profile picture is removed and new uploads are stopped for that account.
• The account responsible is suspended: it can no longer post, vote, follow or change its profile. Suspension deletes nothing.
• Moderators review child-safety reports by hand; Sbeak has no automated image or text scanning for this material.
• When we become aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, we remove it, keep the information the law requires us to keep, and report it to the competent authorities as required by applicable law.
• We cooperate with law-enforcement requests made under applicable law.
