Sbeak lets you discuss any web page with the other people reading it. By choosing a username, posting, or adding a profile picture or bio, you agree to these rules and to the privacy policy. Sbeak is not directed to children under 18.
Not allowed on Sbeak
- Harassment and bullying of a person or a group.
- Threats of violence or harm, and encouraging self-harm.
- Hate: attacks on people for who they are (for example ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability).
- Sexual content, and any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. Child sexual abuse material is never allowed; see our child safety standards.
- Other people's private information (addresses, phone numbers, IDs, private photos) shared without their consent.
- Impersonation of another person or organisation.
- Spam, scams and coordinated posting of the same text.
- Illegal content or content that promotes illegal acts.
These rules apply to comments, quoted passages, usernames, profile pictures, bios and pages you suggest for Discover.
Reporting and blocking
- A comment: the comment's menu → Report.
- A person or their profile picture: tap their name → Report user, or View profile → Report profile picture.
- Block: tap their name → Block. You no longer see their comments, and they can no longer follow you.
Reports go to Sbeak's moderators; the person you report is never told who reported them.
What moderators can do
- Conceal a comment behind a notice (readers may still choose to open it). Comments with enough reports are concealed until a moderator decides.
- Remove a comment that breaks a rule above; it is replaced by "Removed by a moderator" and the reason.
- Remove a profile picture and stop new uploads for that account (bundled pictures stay available).
- Suspend an account. A suspended account can still sign in, read, block people, delete its own comments and delete the account, but cannot post, edit, vote, follow, report, or change its profile.
Comment authors are told when their comment is concealed or removed. To ask about a decision, write to support@sbeak.app.
Your content and your account
You are responsible for what you post. You can edit a comment for 10 minutes and delete it at any time, and delete your account from Profile → Delete account (details).
Changes
When these rules change materially, the app asks you to accept the new version before you post again.
